Wish you were here?....Wish I'd been there!!!

While hubby was away (it was a business type trip really! Hone
st!) I asked him to take lots of photos to show us where he'd been whilst we were stuck in rainy Britian, and he came up with lots of lovely photos, too many to show you here!

So I have whittled them down to my favourite ones and thought you might want to take a look!

He thought that I would have really appreciated the art and architecture of the place too so he's promised that once the kids are older we will take a holiday there...just the two of us! Can't wait!!

Well that's all for now. Have a great evening!

Just a thought!

It was half term this week and hubby has been away so the kids and I invaded my parent's house for a few days, which took the pressure off. We had a great and muddy time, which was fab, but the Little Boy Blue still insisted on waking at about 5am every morning ready for the day! Hence I have been facing each day with an accompanying foggy head til about lunchtime when the clouds lifted and I was able to feel more awake. So at the back of my mind is the fact that I haven't done any art work towards my next involvement in an exhibition at the end of May, and I am getting twitchy about it. But I have just been too tired at the end of the day to get the motivation up to get some done.

BUT this morning I was thinking about my next piece and I realised that by actually thinking about it, I have been processing thoughts towards the final outcome anyway~so I HAVE been working~even if it is only in my head!!!

YAY! YAY! YAY!

So I am a bit happier about the situation now!
Well time for luch so the kids keep telling me, so tata 4 now!

Poorly Day

On Wednesday I kept my eldest son off school as he had come home the day before with a migrane. Anticipating a rather stressful day with the three kids stuck in the house all day, we ended up actually having rather an enjoyable day. Colouring and sticking in the morning, with the Poorly One resting for a while in bed then joining in, and then creating Play Doh cakes for Daddy's birthday (which incidentally is in June!)

Rather than leaving the cakes until Daddy's birthday, (which was the children'
s desire) we decided to take photos and maybe turn them into birthday cards at a later date. I now realise that the Poorly One's creations were captured on his kids' camera and I haven't a clue how to transform them onto the blog even if I can, so a sample of Little Girl's creations will have to suffice. Oh and so as to let you know that Little Boy Blue was also involved in this creating time, I can tell you that at different points in the production process his teeth and tongue were various shades of green and pink!!! Yuck!!

So, here are the tasty treats which do look good enough to eat ~ in the eyes of a 22 month old, anyway!

Well, that's all from me tonight! Have a great evening!
